With a private pool, large gathering spaces, and unbeatable location—just steps from downtown Douglas, minutes from Saugatuck, and a short walk to Lake Michigan—you’ll be in the heart of West Michigan’s most charming beach towns.

Meet your hosts

We’ve spent years making memories in Douglas and Saugatuck, and fell in love with this community. That passion inspired us to pour our heart and soul into fully renovating Randolph Pool House — thoughtfully designed so families and friends can gather, relax, and create their own memories here.

We call Ann Arbor, Michigan home, and when we’re not cheering on our Wolverines, you’ll usually find us exploring new places with our kids (and spending about 80% of our time as their chauffeurs!).

We can’t wait to share this special home and hope you love it as much as we do.

  • Our family had an incredible stay at Randolph Pool House! The home is beautifully renovated, spacious, and perfect for large groups or families. The kitchen and living areas were great for gathering, the bedrooms were very comfortable, and the private pool was a huge hit during the hot summer. The location is ideal for a quick drive to catch the sunset at Oval Beach! We’d absolutely stay here again!

  • "The house was spotless and felt brand new. The layout was perfect for our group of 14; we could all gather in the open living area or spread out when we wanted quiet time. The pool was a highlight—our kids practically lived in it—and we loved being able to walk to downtown Douglas for coffee and shopping, plus it was just a quick drive (or even walk) to the beach. The hosts thought of everything, from beach gear and games to a coffee station that made mornings extra special.

FAQ

  • We can comfortably host up to 16 guests in 7 bedrooms with 3.5 bathrooms. Five rooms have king beds, one has a queen, and one has two full-size beds.

  • Check-in time is at 4:00 PM, and check-out time is at 10:00 AM. We do our best to accommodate early check-ins and late check-outs when possible; please check with us in advance.

  • Just about a mile from pristine West Michigan beaches—perfect for a walk, bike ride, or quick drive.

  • The pool is open seasonally from Memorial Day to Labor Day. However, sometimes a little sooner, and usually a little later in the season as well. It is cleaned and treated twice weekly during your stay—once just before arrival and again mid-week for weekly rentals.

  • Yes, we provide firewood for the outdoor firepit and gathering area. You'll have everything you need to enjoy cozy fires and make smores!

  • Sorry, we are a pet-free property to keep our home allergy-friendly and in top shape for all guests.

  • We do not allow parties or events. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM, and only registered guests are permitted on the property.

  • A chef’s kitchen with quartz countertops, top-of-the-line stainless appliances, two dishwashers, a beverage fridge, a drip coffee maker, a Keurig, and all the cookware and dinnerware you’ll need.

  • Yes! We have 8 private parking spaces. Parking is only permitted in designated areas—no RVs, campers, or trailers, please.

  • Literally everything! You’re just 4 blocks from downtown Douglas, 1.5 miles from downtown Saugatuck, and minutes from coffee shops, restaurants, galleries, and boutiques. Exit through the back gate for a short few steps to the grocery store, a few more steps to the Bowling Alley, and the Blue Star Cafe (with the best ice cream in town)!

  • Better. Between the drip coffee maker, Keurig, tea kettle, and a fully stocked coffee station, you’ll be fueled for beach walks, shopping trips, and late-night chats.

  • Absolutely! We even have a pump for you to save your lungs. Just remember—no glass in the pool area, and keep the gates closed at all times.
